Geoffrey Bagshaw

BAGSHAW, Geoffrey “Jeff”, 73 of Dawley Street, Coventry, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Kent Hospital.  

He was the beloved husband of Frances A. (Plaziak) Bagshaw.  Born in Providence, a son of the late Kenneth and Eleanor (Anderson) Bagshaw.  He was a resident of Coventry for the past 50 years.

Mr. Bagshaw was a forklift operator at Bostitch in East Greenwich for 37 years before retiring in 1999.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, mystery car rides with his wife and spending time with his pets, Austin, Gabby and Maddy.

Besides his wife he leaves two children, Mark C. Bagshaw and Karen A. Bagshaw both of Coventry and two sisters, Joyce Erickson of Avon Park, FL and Pamela Simmons of Madison, CT.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 10-11 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick followed by a service at 11:00 am.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Special Olympics RI, 370 George Washington Highway, Smithfield, RI 02917 in his memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
