Evelyn B. (Benjamin) D'Amore

D'Amore, Evelyn B., (Benjamin), 93, of Carlson Circle, West Warwick, passed away Monday morning, February 12, 2018 at Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick.

She was the beloved wife of the late William M. D’Amore, Sr., they were married for 61 years upon his passing.  Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Leonie (Roussell) Benjamin.

Mrs. D'Amore was a textile weaver at Conneaut Industries for many years before retiring.  She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Crompton.

She is survived by two sons, William M. D'Amore, Jr., and his companion Stephanie Jones of West Warwick and Frank J. D'Amore, and his wife Helene, of Coventry; a sister, Theresa Jacobs of Coventry; four grandchildren, William M. D'Amore III, Daria Sullivan, Leah Lasser and Frank J. D'Amore Jr. and four great grandchildren.   

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 8:15-9:15 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary Church, Church St., Crompton.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions to Assisted Daily Living, 2809 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886 or VNA of Care New England, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
