JOSEPH, Etienne, 65, of Cathedral Square Apartments, Providence, passed away Wednesday evening, Dec. 31, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.
He was the husband of Fada (Jean Baptiste) Joseph. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, the son of the late Philogene and Rosa (Clervilus) Joseph.
Mr. Joseph was an assistant cook at Beekman Hospital in New York for many years before retiring.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Jenny Joseph and grandson, Rashaad Joseph both of Milton, Massachusetts; several brothers, Frank Joseph of Warwick, Lochard Joseph of Brooklyn, NY, Victor Joseph of Pine Brook, FL, Wesner Joseph of Brooklyn, NY and Fritz Joseph of Brooklyn, NY and a sister, Gisele (Joseph) Jacinthe of Miami, FL. He was preceded in death by his brother, Andre Joseph of Port au Prince, Haiti.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 6, 2015 from 2-4 pm in the JAMES J. GALLOGLY and SONS Funeral Home, 671 Broad St., Providence. Burial will be private.
