Doris M. (Smith) Inman

Doris M. (Smith) Inman, 89, of Harley Street, West Warwick, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 at the Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph S. Inman.  Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel P. (Luther) Smith.  She resided in West Warwick since 1959.

Mrs. Inman worked on airplanes during World War II, taught ceramics, was an usher at the former Warwick Musical Tent and enjoyed knitting and sewing.

She is survived by her two children, Kenneth W. Inman and Debra J. Vargas both of West Warwick; a brother, Harold Smith of South Kingstown and three grandchildren, Jessica McDermott, Joseph Vargas, III and Cory S. Vargas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 12:30 pm in the Columbarium Committal Center at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter (guests may gather at the Administration Building parking lot at 12:15 pm and we will process to the Committal Center).  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the family to assist with funeral arrangements.  Arrangements with HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home.  Information and condolences please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
