Doris D. "Dottie" (Fortin) Derocher

DEROCHER, Doris D. “Dottie” (Fortin), 89, of Woodland Dr., Coventry, passed away Friday evening, April 7, 2017 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was the beloved wife of the late Adrien F. Derocher.  Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Henri A. and Corana (Valliere) Fortin.

Mrs. Derocher was a communicant of SS. John and James Parish where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann.

She is survived by a son, Brian A. Derocher and his wife Barbara of East Greenwich; a daughter, Lynn M. Giorgio and her husband Joseph of Saunderstown; five grandchildren including Kerri Matheson and her husband Tim and Ryan Giorgio and two great granddaughters.  She was the sister of the late Irene Theroux and Joseph H. Fortin.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 9:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in SS.
