Charlotte F. (Monroe) Luther

LUTHER, Charlotte F. (Monroe), 93, of Oak Street, West Warwick, Port Orange Florida and formerly of Hope, RI, passed away, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at The Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center, Daytona Beach, FL.    

She was the wife of the late George H. Luther.  Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William F. and Louise (Wilson) Monroe. 

Mrs. Luther was a receptionist in the Emergency Room at Kent Hospital for several years before retiring and was an active member of the West Warwick Emblem Club # 454.

She leaves two daughters, Charlene F. Picard and her husband Norman of North Woodstock, NH and Daytona Beach, FL and Karen L. Deus-Timmons and her husband John Timmons of Port Orange, FL; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Lowell, Dorothy Anderson and Lillian Cushing and a great grandmother of the late Coty Lee Hensley. 

Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10 am from the HENAULT - GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick.  A service will be held at 11:00 am in The Church of the Apostles, 170 Fairview Ave., Coventry.  Interment will follow in the Lawton Cemetery, Betty Pond Rd., Cranston.  Visiting hours Friday 5-8 pm.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
