Catherine A. "Kate" (Kennedy) Gavin

GAVIN, Catherine A. “Kate” (Kennedy), 84, of 315 Park Avenue, Cranston, passed away Friday morning, Nov. 6, 2015 at home.

Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Catherine A. (Costello) Kennedy.  She resided in Cranston for many years.

Kate was a pharmacy technician at Women & Infants Hospital for twenty years before retiring in 1995.  She was a communicant of St. Paul Church in Edgewood.

She is survived by her loving family.  She was the sister of the late Thomas M. Kennedy and John J. Kennedy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at 10:30 am in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Edgewood, Cranston.   Interment will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  Information and condolences please visit: www.galloglyfuneralhome.com
