Bertha F. Lesniak

LESNIAK, Bertha F., 100, of Coventry, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Shady Acres Nursing Home, West Kingston.

Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Rutkowska) Lesniak.  She resided in Coventry for most of her life.

Ms. Lesniak was a hairdresser at the RI State General Hospital in Cranston for forty years before retiring in 1976.  She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing bingo and shopping.

She is survived by a niece, Deborah Gamelin and her husband James and a nephew, John R. Lamb and his wife Kathy.  She was the sister of the late Walderman T. Lesniak, Celia M. Lamb and Elizabeth Lesniak.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, Washington St., Coventry.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  Information and condolences please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
