Bernard J. Slezak

SLEZAK, Bernard J., 93, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2017.  

He was the beloved husband of the late Florence G. (Benjamin) Slezak.  Born in Coventry, he was the son of the late Jozef and Katarzyna (Wlodarz) Slezak.

Mr. Slezak was a WW II Army Veteran who enjoyed gardening and took great pride in his yard.

He is survived by three daughters, Julie A. Haggis (Richard) of Cranston, Paula J. DiBiase (Robert) of Coventry and Jane M. Salois (David) of Blackstone, MA; a son, Peter J. Slezak (Kathy) of Swansea, MA and seven grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry.  Interment with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Meals on Wheels, 70 Bath Street, Providence, RI 02908 in his memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
