Annette M. (Giguere) Benoit

BENOIT, Annette M. (Giguere), 92, of Hardig Road, Warwick, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Kent Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Rene L. Benoit.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Henri and Eva (Skelling) Giguere.  She resided in West Warwick before moving to Warwick in 1991. 

Mrs. Benoit was an assembler at Bulova Watch Company for many years before retiring.  She was a member of the Sparrows Point Tenant’s Association, an avid card player, enjoyed square dancing and traveling and loved animals.

She is survived by two sons, Robert L. Arel and his wife Maureen in Montana and Ronald J. Arel and his wife Karen of West Warwick, five grandchildren, Jessica Losoya, Christina, Ronald, Jr., Sean and Anthony Arel and seven great grandchildren, Joshua, Aleah, Kayla, Benjamin, Aidan, Desiree and Zailiah.  She was the sister of the late Lionel and Richard Giguere.

Visitation and funeral will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 8:00-9:30 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick.  In lieu of flowers contributions to the West Warwick Animal Shelter, 106 Hay Street, West Warwick in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
