Andre E. Hattoy

HATTOY, Andre E., 86, of Seven Mile Road, Hope, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

He was the husband of the late Yolande M. (Levesque) Hattoy.  Born in Blackstone, MA, he was the son of the late Henri and Leoni (Kuster) Hattoy. He resided in Hope for over sixty years.

Mr. Hattoy was a truck driver with various companies for many years before retiring.  He was a Korean War Army Veteran, a member of Club Jogues, an avid sports fan, enjoyed playing horseshoes, cards and tending to his vegetable garden.

He is survived by his three children, Andre R. Hattoy and his wife Diane of Johnston, Susan C. de Boer and her husband Richard of Tolland, CT and Leslie J. Morrissey and her husband Daniel of Foster; six grandchildren, Christopher Hattoy, Dana and Derek de Boer, Corey, Tanner and Meghan Morrissey and a brother, Raymond Hattoy and his wife Jacqueline of West Warwick.  He was the brother of the late Henri Hattoy.

His funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at 9:00 am from the HENAULT - GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 62 Pleasant St., West Warwick.  Interment will be private.  Visiting hours Friday 5:00-7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 in his memory would be appreciated.
