Alice V. (McManus) Ford

FORD, Alice V. (McManus), 93, of St. Mary Street, West Warwick, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Riverview Health Care Community, Coventry.

She was the wife of the late Edward F. Ford.  Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Darby) McManus. She was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.

Mrs. Ford was employed at the former Grant’s Department Store in Arctic for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of SS. John and James Parish.  

She is survived by a daughter, Catherine M. Toth and her husband Daniel of Norwalk, CT; two sons, Michael J. Ford of Portsmouth and Philip F. Ford of West Warwick; five grandchildren and two great grandsons.  She was the mother of the late Thomas E. Ford and sister of the late Margaret Lacroix and Catherine McManus.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 9:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in SS. John and James Church, Washington St., West Warwick. Interment will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery.  Visiting hours Wednesday 4:00-7:00 pm.
